Vitaferst-Care’s Oral Supplement is specifically designed to support the health and growth of calves, lambs, and goat kids during the critical neonatal period. This formulation includes selenium to promote growth, vitamin A to enhance neonatal immunity, vitamin D to support growth and metabolism, vitamin E to stimulate the immune system, and vitamin B12 for cell growth and immune support. While most production animals have normal nutrient levels at birth, these levels can rapidly deplete during the neonatal period, potentially limiting their growth and development. This is why supplements like Vitaferst-Care are often necessary when milk is the sole source of nutrients. Newborn lambs and kids: Provide 3 mL per 5 kg body weight by oral drench as a single dose between 1 and 3 days of age. For newborn lambs, and goat kids, may be repeated in 3 to 4 weeks as recommended by veterinarian. Provide after animal has received colostrum. Do not mix with colostrum.
