The straw cutter cuts the sealed end of 3 mm diameter (Continental, French, Simmet, or Canadian) straws cleanly without crushing. This insures a clean square cut so straw will seat securely in the insemination sheath, preventing "blowback." Cutter snaps apart and can be submerged in cleaning solution.
