The pump is the "heart" of the milking system. It sucks air from the tank and evacuates it out the exhaust and muffler. This creates a vacuum. This vacuum draws the milk out of the goat's teats. Our System One pump is an oil-less rotary vane model. It is more efficient than other types; it produces more vacuum for the power used; it produces a steady vacuum without the fluctuations common to other pumps; and being oil-less means little service is needed to keep the pump running.
